Diversity, Equity and Ethics
The Diversity, Equity and Ethics office provides high-level strategic advice, expertise and recommendations on matters relating to diversity, equity, ethics and professionalism. The office is responsible for the development and entrenchment of the Diversity Strategy within the OPP, working closely with the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. As part of the office’s mandate, the office develops and fosters effective relationships with both external organizations and community. In addition, the office provides assistance in the development and advancement of legal positions on matters having potential for impact on provincial legislation.
