Crime Prevention“Crime Prevention is the anticipation, recognition and appraisal of a crime risk and the action taken to remove or reduce it.” The mandate of the Crime Prevention Section is: Provide crime prevention expertise in support of Frontline Policing. Promote and support partnerships with Regions, Bureaus and external stakeholders; government, community and other police services, aimed at the prevention and reduction of crime.
