Intimate Partner Violence

Intimate partner abuse/violence involves the use of physical, psychological or sexual force, actual or threatened, in an intimate relationship.

The OPP would like to remind the public of support agencies that remain committed to delivering services to those who need it. If you or your children are experiencing intimate partner abuse or violence, you are not alone. There is help available for you. Telephone services (crisis lines) are available for free, 24 hours a day, to listen and help you make decisions to keep you and your family safe.

As frauds continue to present a significant risk to our community members and businesses, combatting fraud remains a priority for the OPP.

If you or someone you know suspects they’ve been a victim of fraud, contact your local police service and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC) through the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, even if a financial loss did not occur.
